If the decision was to vote for the Christmas Exchange by 2/1/07, I wanted to move the post up so that we would remember to do so. If you want to read all the discussion, etc. you can follow Jenny's directions on how to get to it.
I, Heather, after much deliberation am voting to not participate in the exchange. I won't elaborate on my reasoning on this post - I don't want to bore anyone with the details, but would be more than happy to discuss it with anyone. After the run of this, if it continues, I would like to be thought of at that time and given the option to join. I would also like the option to join if the process of it changes.

from those who are in the draw?

I talked to Diane earier, and told her that yes, this is for the one name draw. Then that name gets dropped the next year.

Well, the final count is in. There
were only two for it. Charlie said
he wouldn't mind giving a gift but
would feel wierd getting from every
one. So I didn't count him in.
Perhaps take a year off and re-
consider next year.
As far as the $5.00 girls
exchange, everyone is for that.
Asked Missi and she would also like
to be included. Perhaps those on
the Range can come up with a theme
and draw the names. Please, nothing crafty unless you can buy
something for $5.00 and also no
garage sale as someone does not do
the garage sale thing. (Personally
I'd love it but everyone doesn't)
Let me know. If it doesn't get into the Jan. Newsletter, it will
make it for the Feb. which will come out late as we don't get home
until March 12 and I don't think I
will be typing a Newsletter on the
13th. More like just rest that day!! dk
Whaaaat? No typing on the road? I still love the mental picture of typewriter hauled in to every motel room. Such dedication ... thank you! We will look forward to the newsletter anyway, whether typed on the road or afterwards.

My theme idea for the girls is "outdoors". It could be just about anything, fishing, hunting, gardening, wind chimes (but not for my house, Dave would throw them away) something outside!

Well it sounds like that we are not doing a name drawing this year. :( The girls are still doing there drawing so maybe if the guys are intrested we could do one. I am still on the kick about drawing just one name out of a hat and buying for that one person and each year dropping their name out. So would the guys be intrested in doing that and if they are would you like to do it with the inlaw guys also? We do not need to decide right away or anything but it would be fun to have a drawing of some kind since the girls are the only ones with a drawing. I will be in and I will not even make Jenny buy the gift.:)
