well today we got our first REAL snow fall of the year 4 days before christmas!!! moms at work but i took the little girls outside to play in the snow as soon as i got home from school, at 3:00 an they are just coming in now!!! (5:00) record time for being out in the cold! =) they usualy come in complaining its to cold or theres nothing to do =) they came in because they were hungry this time, and supper is almost ready anyway so its not bad they're coming in. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all, i gotta go supper is being puton the table. -Debbie

I actually had a fun night at work tonight. For the first time in the 4 years since this dept was created, we left the hospital without in-house coverage for our Christmas party. We were at a co-workers party room just a mile away, and I answered pages by phone, but it was great to have everyone together away from work. Getting paid while at the party was an added bonus. I am bringing supper home for tomorrow night from the left over party food on top of it all. Makes me smile!
It is beautiful outside around here tonight. There is nothing like a heavy snow to clean everything up. It isn't cold either, so that makes it even more beautiful. Driving in tonight wasn't so nice, but I expect driving home will go better. 1hr 45 minutes for the drive in. Hopefully the snow will stay now for the season. I don't remember when it has been this late before we have had our first real snow.

wow, mom thats not fair you get paid while partying, the lasagna was really good though, so im not copmplaining. the picture was actually taken on the road, aas i was running to go get her i though she looked cute standing there waiting for me to come pick her up i had to take a picture. i was thinking the same thing about her looking like mom, did my mom stay up until 1 in the morning like she does? probably not. -debbie
