Beautiful Weekend

Just a few pictures from the Lake Powell Youth Trip. The bridge is Rainbow Bridge. When I was a teen and going on houseboat trips up there, the water went up to the bridge. Now, we hiked 1 1/2 miles in to the bridge.
Playing in canyons.

The boats and the crew. The boats parked 1 mile from the toilets! The toilets are floating toilets on the lake. It is not legal to go no. 2 on the shore. $500 fine. You have to have portable toilets with you. The floating potty also was dump station for the port-a-potties!

Who were all the "adults" that went with you...is that Dale Johnson, and I see Dan Kumpula...who's is the third boat? I hardly recognize anyone in that picture. Did Stefan go? Is that him in the front sitting down with the hat, and you can't see his face? Did anyone bring a video camera? Would be fun to watch. Looks like tons of fun!! And the pics are great...one of these days we will make it up there! What was the weather/water temp like?
sorry for all the questions!

I love the pictures. I think I want the pictures on my computer as my desktop. Talk about relaxation just looking at them. How about if you come to MN and bring your boat. We have several thousand lakes to choose from.

I would be game to just be in the boat fishing on a warm summer day. Ok, I'm dreaming, time to wake up and get some work done.

The boat is FOR SALE would you like to buy it ?? I will bring it to you if you buy it.... I dont think we will be needing it in Alaska. I will just have to buy one in alaska this spring.. I need a big one for the ocean that way we can sail all the way down to washington state. Let me know when you want it.
