GOAL SETTING

Here's an inquiry to see if anyone is interested: I'd like to post one time per week on here as to a goal to do for the week, then we follow up on it. The goal can be anything you want it to be, but putting it on here may hold us (I know me for sure) accountable. I put off biking last night due to being lazy. I could have done it, but didn't. If I had to account for it, I would have put my big butt up on a seat and started pedaling. Anyone in? We could report on Mondays or whatever day works for you and do that each week.

My goal for the rest of the week: bike 40 miles (either on an exercise bike or outside enjoying the summer air).

I hope others will join me or at least question me if I did it or not. I find so many other things to do and I put exercise on the back burner. I have to get it on the forefront in order to avoid a heart attack at a young age.

Heather:
I have so many to choose from......
My goals are more domestic things like paint the bedroom, empty the pool, get school clothes, get school supplies, things I have put off until tomorrow..........
So my goal this week is to burn tons of calories shopping for school stuff! I HATE to shop. If you did not know that about me before, you do now. I hate grocery shopping or clothes shopping or any kind of shopping, unless it is Home Depot! (haha)
Tanner can spend hours looking for one shirt, not me! So I will bite the bullet and get 'er done this weekend!
Does this count as a goal????? It does for this busy Mom! (smiles)

Liz - I'm in on the $10 deal. I've got 5 miles down last night and did so at 10:30, but I knew I had to get some miles in. This really does help to motivate me.

Jody, your goals count. I'd rather go biking than have to go shopping; actually I can't think of anything that I wouldn't prefer to do over shopping. Have Fun =)

I certainly need something to motivate me! We got home at 2 a.m.
so not too much pep today. I just
went and looked at the temp., it's
74 and the time of day I shouldn't
be outside. Reino is gone so will
clean kitchen. Earlier to bed
tonight so will walk Thurs., Fri.
and Sat. mornings, unless it is
raining. Also have to iron so that
is moving arm muscles! Also, if
there are beans, have to can them
this afternoon as they will be
waxing (or whatever) the floors so
can't use church gas range after
today. Hope I can do it. dk

Mom,
you can exercise even if it's raining. I know there are many machines just down the hall from you :)

My goal for this week is to get this office cleaned and to buy an outfit for the wedding. And I will walk 5 miles this week since it is already Wednesday afternoon.

I walked 1 1/3 miles today. I'm not setting any mileage goals, just to walk. I marked it on the
calendar on frig as 1.30. Later
today wondered now what was I supposed to do at 1:30! Heather,
I guess you are right, there are
some machines down the hall. Just
think Maija walks for 40 min. on it everyday. dk
