Lindsey went to the dentist today and had her top four front teeth pulled! She had cavities in all four, and she would have lost the teeth this year anyways, so the dentist thought it best if we had them pulled! She had been dreading this day for the last two weeks, but was real brave about it today! She felt the novacaine shot a little, but that was it. She kept this gauze in for quite a while, and was going nuts that she couldn't open her mouth to talk to me! She kept trying to grunt (say) things to me, so I had her write me notes everytime she wanted to tell me something. It was so cute...she wrote things like: "my lip hurts", "when will the bleeding stop?" and then when I gave the other kids licorice, she wrote "NO FAIR!" I will have to save the notes for her scrapbook!

I agree with Lindsey, giving the other kids licorice when all she gets is the flavor of gauze is "no fair".

She is so adorable. NO FAIR is right!! You will owe her big time. But WAIT, was it the licorice that gave her the cavity in the first place? Hard lesson learned. I'm feelin' for ya, Lindsey! I LOVE licorice!
No fair is how it feels sometimes! Cute toothless smile Lindsey! You will be able to sing "All I want for Christmas is my four front teeth." ...You are Laura match :)
