In renewing my teaching license, I had to get in
touch with the Cherry School District to plan my
continuing education credits. I had contacted
Kathy Bloomquist to have some questions
answered as she is one of the Continuing Ed
committee members. The second call I made
to her to clarify more questions, generated the
"which Kuoppala?" conversation (you know the
one) in which she mentioned to say "Hello" to
everyone.
I told her I'd post it on the family blog and she
seemed quite excited!
So "Hello" from Mrs. Bloomquist, all of you Kuoppala Kids. : )
Sorry, I have been slacking with the photo taking of
Tristan, but will have more soon! : )

If you talk to Mrs. Bloomquist again, say "hello" to her from me. I haven't seen her for a while. I saw her daughter Jamie and her husband at Kmart one day. Jamie married a Niska who is related to Shawn. Small world. Jamie's sister-in-law also works at the Workforce Center with me. I brought in some scrapbooks one day and there was a picture of Audrey and Harry and she said "I know them" then a picture of Theresa and she knew her also as she lived next to Rolene and Ray.

I will never forget throwing a baby shower for Mrs. Bloomquist when I was in 5th grade. Not that I threw it, but it was definately a highlight. Hello from Anita as well!
Hey Laurie, I didn't know you had your teaching license. Are you planning on teaching soon? Sometime we have to chat about how you earn and report your continuing education credits. I have a lot to earn before I renew in 2010, if I teach!

How fun! Thanks for passing this on and be sure to say hello from us as well when you see her again.

Hey Missi,
Yep, I've renewed it every two years since I got it. But now, there's only the five year and if I don't get the CE credits, I lose the license, so scurrying to get that done as well as other activities.
Let's chat. : ) LK.
