thank you! i had a marvelous day. had dinner in monticello with mary and diane, my good friends from st cloud. and spent the evening/night at becky/wayne's. steven baked and frosted a cake - that boy definitely comes from a long line of bakers - he did a fabulous job. the kids and i worked thru my college textbooks and we had great discussion/debate about war/peace, hamilton/jefferson, and all sorts of fascinating things. dr frank called at midnight and we had one large group conversation with her - remembering, of course, debbie's puke bucket and other fine kuoppala traditions. i was well into being 36 (and feeling it) by the time we got to bed. thanks everyone! -e.
i forgot to mention that Debbie got an A on her science project. yay, debbie! you'll look great in goggles and a lab coat if you should opt to become a "mad" scientist. - "auntie wiz"
:) thx! hey happy birthday Liz, we didn't do the best job singing happy birthday to you ;) we could do the cooking passing with an A i think, but singig??? umm not to promising :) any way Happy Birthday it was fun to get to eat birthday cake and discuss with the "brain" scientist that would be you liz, remember Stevens side comments ;) good times, it would have been fun to share it with all. but Happy Birthday Liz! -debbie
