Lindula's

I just wanted to post something. Life here has been a little hectic, but not too bad. Some of us from the outdoor club have decided to be athletic (I really am attempting but will someday surpass the attempt). There is bike riding on Tuesdays - we did 6 miles yesterday (I'm standing as I type) and now tennis in the AM Monday through Friday from 6:15AM to 7:00AM. I'm thinking we may as well do the weekends too, so we'll see how that works (today was the 1st day and Jen, Liz, and I made it). So if anyone is interested, you are more than welcome to join. Can't wait until people come up here on vacation - bring your tennis equipment or we'll provide you with it. Shawn has been busy getting machinery ready for the auction the 1st weekend of May. I'm the detail person, so have to clean the trucks this weekend. We'll see if they sell at the auction for the amount that he needs to get out of them. Anyone want to buy a Ford 8000 dump truck? Hello to everyone. I haven't had much time to be on the computer - work has been busy, but I too, like Charlie, do read the blogs, but often don't have time to comment. Here's hoping that everyone had a wonderful day and an even better week.

I failed to mention it for a reason. I'm glad no one can see the picture. The article is really good though. Heather

I read the article ... couldn't find the picture. Maybe it'll be in the archives soon and we can resurrect it for the blog!
As tough as life may seem sometimes, we've been truly blessed.

Hello to all you Kuoppala's and In-Laws!
Weekends are filling up fast. My folks are down sizing to a townhome and move June 1st. Selling a lot of stuff!! Going from a 4 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom townhome and lots to be done. Dave sold his motorcycle. Sold it to the first person that looked at it. Dave is also selling his truck and plow. He is going to buy his boss' truck this fall and drives a company vehicle through the summer so we are trying to sell now. Not a good time of year to sell a plow truck though.
Glad to hear everyone is doing good. Hope to get together with everyone soon. Heather, you can always drive down here, we have a tennis court a block from our house (smiles)!
Take care all!

Heather????
Do you remember Chessnut Park and playing tennis? I can't hit the broadside of a barn with a tennis ball. Connecting with a racquet is downright scary. Sounds like fun tho' ~ can't wait!

Brought dressers to Elbow Creek
Ranch that had been bought from
Phyllis. Stopped to drop off
coffee cans for Heather. Jen
was home so read article and saw
pic of Heather. Nice article.

There is another Husky at the
Elbow Creek Ranch.

Jody, you'll miss having your
mom so close for the kids to
stop in there when you aren't
home. Wish them luck on the
move from us. mom

I tried to look for the article, but I couldn't find it. How do I go look through the archives? And what is the name of the article?
I used to be able to play tennis back in high school, but that is like 10 years ago! I'm game to give it a whirl!
Yeah, Jody, you are really going to miss your mom so close, and so are the boys I'm sure! How far away are they going?

My folks are actually going to be closer to us (if you can get any closer). You can see their patio from our deck. They are excited to still be a part of our neighborhood and that is one reason this is all happening so fast. The townhome was available and they did not want to wait for another opening. (does any of this sound familiar???)
The garage sale is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So much work to be done. The garage is full of stuff and we still have so much more to carry out. She is selling her entire collection of Christmas Villages...she must have 40 or so...not sure what she is pricing anything at but will be helping with that tomorrow. I am looking forward to getting them all settled in but there is so much to be done before that can happen.
