Using up more gas

To Rockford church last night for Johnson-Karvonen wedding. Today to the Minnesota Zoo.
Took lots of pictures, walked 2.26 miles. Enjoyed subs there. Heard last evening that Ivan was
off so went to 500 Main and took more pictures. That beautiful yellow siding is gone! Almost
drove past! There was another siding underneath. Garage has been painted. House will be also. Next to Hampton. Got to see Amanda and Cody before Tanya picked them up for the
weekend. Charlie was home as were Jade and Cole. Machelle working. Charlie showed the
machine that does that cutting on wood of pictures. Showed some nice ones. Then to
Wannamingo to see Jen's new apartment. Nice. Enjoyed supper there and short visit. Home
at 11 p.m. To Duluth tomorrow for my 55th class reunion and then plan is to go see Glady. dk

I drove by Missis and Ivan's last week and can not believe all of the work they have done so far. The garage looks very nice,I like the colors. We have not been over there much though we live so close but when Dave puts in 82 hours a week there are not enough hours in a day to do much of anything else. I am going to help Missi paint as I love to do that but not much help when it comes to tearing off and hanging sheetrock and such.
Dave is actually sick right now, won't slow down at work though. He needs to sleep for an entire day and catch up-like that will ever happen. The older he gets the harder this job is on him. Don't know how many more years he is going to be able to keep the pace he is at right now. But he is a stubborn old mule! Thinks he is superman at times. Not much summer is given to his kids but we have always sacrificed our summers as a family because of his job. Like Dave says, he needs to put in the hours while he he can.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Went to my 55th Class Reunion on
Sat. Had lost another classmate. We must have been gone as didn't see it in the obits. One came from Wash. state and Kalli's from WY whom we had visited last fall.
Then to Two Harbors to see Glady.
Her memory is going but then so is
mine. Brought her homemade donuts.

Tell David to take at least one day
to sleep and rest or he might end up losing more because he got sick.
Driving to Randalls for Abigail's
baptism had radio on and they were
talking about overworking making you sick. Body is tired so can't fight off anything. dk

Did Glady remember the doughnuts? Or you?

It may have taken awhile for it to
register who we were. I did say
"hello" from Anita. No response as to how is she doing, like would have been normal before. She did smile when she got the donuts. She
introduced me to another lady who
came into the room, she said, "This
is my (hesitation) husband's sister." We go to Thunder Bay on
10-19. Should drop off a few more
homemade donuts. Not stay, just say "Hi" and drop off a few donuts.
