Knock, Knock...

here's a photo of one of my lawn signs. this campaign has been my life lately - doorknocking, lawn signs, etc. - its all good fun.

we just had a "meet the candidate" event and our former oil delivery man ("be-a-man; be-a-truck" to david) stopped by and says hello to everyone...

My memory must be going ... don't remember the "bia man". Wish I could put names to all those people who pass thru my life.

Happy campaigning!

heh There is no way I could ever put a face to anyone delivering fuel...

Have the newspapers covered more of the campaigning? If so, It would be pretty cool if you had any articles to post 'em...

Keeping my fingers... toes... eyes... crossed for ya!

How do you get the red lettering?
E at least remembered the bia man
and bia tuck, the words anyway,
perhaps not the man until she met
him during her campaigning. dk

p.s. Imagine me, 30 years older
and trying to come up with names!
Could tell you the history of the
person but the name just won't
come! Carry the LLC address book
with me, that helps sometimes! dk

Keep it going! What an experience, eh? If you have time, post more of your stories, discoveries, interesting interactions, frustrations, etc. I would love to hear them! -becky

I can answer some of the questions posed regarding the campaign.

The campaign chair (Val) lives in Eveleth. She is having the party at her house that night to hear the election results. Val is organizing it.

Liz has been doing a lot of door knocking. I had the pleasure of doing a lit drop in West Eveleth to give information about the meet the candidate party. I was fortunate enough =) to go home with someone's number. He has just moved here, his wife died of cancer, he is looking to meet someone, etc.

Anyway, the campaigning continues. Anyone want to come and join?
