The elk picture on the Blog is much
better than the one on Facebook. dk

just looking at this picture makes me realize that I am becoming additcted to garage saling...does anyone else love it like I do?? I got that brown chair from my sister lisa's garage sale in trade for some photography, those candle holders were $1, and the green striped pillow was $3 for two of them! I went today and got some much needed clothes for Trina, a pair of shoes for me, a shirt for frans, etc...all for $1 each. I love getting nice stuff for so cheap! And last weekend I went to a huge community sale, and got several christmas gifts...Hopefully I can find a few more things before then! this is definately one thing I would miss if I moved out of the city!

are we talking about the same picture. At first we had it on the other wall but it did not work there because you were looking down its throat. But i did put this picture on fb also.

You have done some serious furniture arranging! How about if you have a garage sale and get rid of the Ikea black shelving unit. Where did that go? I want one!

I like the picture! It appears as if the Elk is enjoying the piano and is getting some singing in!

Will you come decorate for me? Still have the big blank wall after 7 years. We moved things around a little and finally got rid of my "used to be comfy" brown recliner. Now people say it looks empty in here. Ok, it probably does since there is less furniture and NOTHING on the big huge wall. Oh well. I don't know how to do it and don't have the extra $ to do it. Blank is less to clean and less clutter for me to look at. ...Still, anytime you want to decorate another place, come on over :)

I realize the elk is on another wall. Is it singing or moaning when some of the younger girls are
playing? Lindsey did well last Feb. but kind of on the loud side.
Perhaps that's what the elk is
moaning about. dk

Mom, were you moaning when I was learning to play? :) I think its singing away!

She probably moaned as I learned to play and then groaned when she wrote the checks ... especially when I was busy doing my book work on the way to lessons.

I don't remember moaning when anyone of you were learning to play. My mom was moaning but didn't say anything when I was
learning as played the same song
over and over again. After I started playing other songs she said about almost pulling her hair
out! dk
