wow, nothing like a good ol' chewin out to light the fire under all our pants! not much new around here....the girls had today off school, and I was hoping to go to the veterans day parade, but lindsey was sick, so we couldn't go! We ended up having a chill day around here, and I was able to get some organizing done:)
Frans brought the girls to the zoo last saturday to see the komodo dragon...pretty neat! Members got to see it before they allowed the public to see it....and Toni made it in the paper!
I am ready for it to start cooling off here....I wore a sweatshirt and jeans today, and I was too hot!! It probably got to about 95! Still running our A/C! What's the weather like in MN and AK?

Here in Brainerd MN the grass is still green, the leaves have fallen and beem mulched. Weather has been in the 50's for the past several days, BUT the lawn mower was moved to the back of its shed and the snow blower to the front. Is it it sign of Winter?
Just a bit to the south, we are also enjoying beautiful fall weather in the 50s. A bit windy and overcast today, making it feel a bit more like winter coming, but we have had a nice week. Had hoped to get the fall yard work done, but I just haven't been feeling well yet. Can we hope for one more week of fall?
Wayne went hunting with Steven and John last weekend. This time Denise is planning to join them. Michelle went hunting with Daniel up north. I guess they figure it is better to be in the woods than to get fall clean up done... Can you blame them?
I did manage to get the pool mostly winterized finally. The water was rather frigid as I was cleaning.
Maybe Friday I can get some pictures posted...

Up Nort the weather is much like Brainderd as well....Heard rumors of 7ft total snowfall in December. We'll see! -LK&T
OH! And cute pics, what a smiley Taryn!!! -LK : )
Way up north the weather is rather chilly. World is white and the thermometer yesterday morning on the way to work said 1. Thinking I should add something other than several layers of sweatshirt by now, hey?
Don't know if they got it or not, but Talkeetna was projected to get about 16 feet of snow the other day. We got our first snowfall in time to wake up to at least 4 inches on Monday morning. Pictures coming sometime soon.

Becky... did anyone get anything?
Jenny, you must have washed and dried the Care Bear... it seems to be shrinking! What great pictures. My feet got cold looking at the hose running!
It is currently raining up here, but should be in the 40s or 50s all weekend and is supposed to clear up. Very warm and weird weather for hunting.

No successful deer hunters from our house so far. They get one more chance... Wayne, Denise, Brian, Steven and John are going with a few others this Friday and Saturday.
Any luck on the range?
