On Thursday night I stood outside for a half hour and clicked away. It is fun with digital because all the pics you get that are black you just delete. These are taken from our front yard facing south east.
Interesting pictures. I have an oil painting started a long time ago, hidden behind our couch. I was painting lightening. Now I can refer to this. If I had painted it that way a person might wonder if it really goes like that in real life. It does! dk
rumor has it that this is the most dangerous lighting. When it goes horizontal they spread out like that more people die from that than when it is between the clouds and the ground. Do not know if that is true or not but that is what I have been told from some folks that seen this picture.
Miss those amazing storms and the lightning. We actually had thunder here the other week. Probably because Jari told Ronda that we never get thunder here! I don't think I heard more than one clap of it myself. -a
