Hint for the picture quiz

Being as most of you probably won't be going back to see that I commented on there, I thought I would update it closer to the top.

Hint for the person playing the keyboard. Her son's Christmas request was "socks and underwear for Christmas".

I'd also like to take a little quiz here so we can learn about each other's houses. What is the theme and color of your kitchen or what are you planning on having it in the case of Ivan and Missi? Mine - dark green with FISH. How about the rest of you?

Heather, I don't have a 'theme' to my kitchen...but my walls are light green. I really don't have much room/wall space to decorate. someday I will have room for a china cabinet with my fiesta china, and assorted pretty white dishes....someday! :) (I always say that I will get china for like our 25th wedding anniversary or something!)

I have no idea who's son wanted socks and underwear for Christmas.

I'm also not sure what color my kitchen is, but I'll make of note of that next time I see it!

Sounds like someone is ultra observant-I don't know for sure what Missi has picked out for the kitchen, but we're going to be redoing the kitchen layout in the near future anyway. Whatever color the dining room is will be the kitchen color as will have no seperation between the two(provided I can take the wall between down). I think the socks and underwear kid was Klabechek or something-I believe Anita used to babysit him(maybe I'm way off). #9

My little, tiny, 2 foot kitchen is. . . cupboards dark brown, walls white (the bit that you can see), but my brand new dishes are tan! When I splurge and get more I think they will be green! So I can have both colors mixed together. The dining area/living room are all natural. I am the plain jane type - or just plain jen.

My kitchen walls are white ... dishes are white ... I think the hospital has more color on it's walls than I do! I'd love to do a color at some point, but want to wait and see how much sun I see inside this winter. Too dark may make things a bit dreary. Burnt orange again?

Jen told me who was playing. I was
just amazed. How was she at Kaleva? And yes, Ivan was right.

Our kitchen has the rooster theme
which started because one year Tanner and Mitchell gave us 2
cannisters and they had roosters.
They are now on our counter plus
numerous roosters. On top of the
cupboards we have antiques like
various canning jars or milk bottles, mining lantern that clipped on a miners helmet, ration
stamps for food during WWII, carding brushes for carding wool,
old stove top irons, sugar cutting
scissors from my home. These all
come down at Christmas and up go the angels. Good time to clean the
top of cabinets! Walls white. dk

Farmington Jo, I miss seeing you on
here. You used to make comments
quite often. Thanks for calling re
storm report. Didn't have radio on
that day as expecting out of towners for supper and wanted to get in done before they arrived.
Had asked them to come early and they showed up about 3 so was glad
my food prep was done. dk
