Jenny

It seems like I don't blog very often anymore! I will admit, that I look at it several times a day to see if there is anything new! So I will make a better effort at blogging myself more often!
How is everyone? Laurie, Liz, Jody, Charlie, Becky, haven't seen you guys on the blog in a while! (I know you others don't have computer access) How is the biking going this week Heather? I didn't do anything on Monday...went to Jari and Anita's for a yummy fish dinner, but did not have time to excersize! Went to curves yesterday, and will take a walk today I'm hoping!
Here are a few pictures of Kierstyn on her first day of Sunday School. Ever since Lindsey started school, she has been so excited for sunday school to start! I was running around that morning like a headless chicken, so Frans did the picture taking!
The kids have been in their swimming suits all morning begging to go swimming....but I just can't get out there! The water is getting way to cold to go for me! I know, I am a wimp! The weather here is getting so nice! Now, if you ask Reino and Diane, (they are here now) they may tell you different! I was watering out front at 10 this morning while the girls rode their bikes, and with the wind it felt so good! I never broke a sweat....park weather will be here soon! Yay!
Nothing too exciting has been going on here...Frans has cut down on the sidework so he has been home more. He is going to have to do something about his allergies soon....they are bad right now, and I don't know how he is going to make it through the rest of fall and spring! Anita needs to hurry and finish this class so she can work her magic on him!
I better get going...get Toni to bed, and I need to bake some cookies!
Have a great rest of the week everyone!:)

Love the pictures Jenny!
The Farmington Kuoppala's are doing great! Glad school is back in session, don't have to worry about the boys while I'm at work. Would love to come to Phoenix and see everyone, I know it's our turn to come down there. We will have to see what kind of winter we have and who knows....
Missi and Ivan have been working on the wedding plans and it sounds like it will be a beautiful event. Missi did ask me to follow you around that day for awhile to help you identify the pictures (people) that she wants. I am looking forward to it! I have met most of her family.
Things have finally slowed down a bit, I love this time of year. Dave's hours are getting a little bit shorter so maybe I can plan a meal and have everyone here at the same time. (smiles)
Take Care Phoenix Kuoppala's...miss you all!

The pictures are very cute. Can't wait to try and print some off. I'm going to get photo paper and try to print them off at work.

As for the biking. I surpassed the goal of 250 miles in one month, so met that by the 19th. The new goal is to have the mileage up to 325 by September 30th and I'm well on my way. Due to it getting dark early and being cold, rainy, etc. I'm biking indoors. No, I don't ride my bike around the kitchen table, though I've thought about it =). I would be very sick by the time I got to 6 miles. (Maybe I need a bigger house? Just kidding). The biking continues and I'm still loving it. Being as my biking is now routine, I'm going to get my Power Rider home and add that in several times per week along with the biking to do something different and get more of a workout.

Jenny, do you like Curves? We have one in Virginia and I can get a discount through my health insurance and have thought of joining. The mere thought of me (not so petite ;)) working out at a gym with others is about enough to make me vomit, but I might have to shove my self image into the toilet and go for it in order to not gain 50 pounds over the winter. So, what is Curves like?

Everyone have a wonderful day.
I check the blog spot often, several times per day during the week (no, I'm not at all bored at work)=) and would love to hear from everyone on how things are going and what they have been up to.

Heather,
Okay, okay, I will send you some pictures!! I'm sorry, I totally foregot! Within a week, I will write myself a note as soon as I get off here!
I like going to curves...I don't know that I would do well in a gym with guys and girls, I really like that it is only ladies. And depending on what time of day I go, sometimes I am the only one in there. It's only a half an hour which I really like too. So I am gone from home for only 50 minutes when I go, so it's not too hard to fit in my day. Go in there and check it out...I think they will give you a week free to see if you like it. They recommend you go three days a week, and it's a lot funner if you go with a freind. Me and Denise Wuollet go together a lot, and when you are visiting, it feels like you are in there for 10 minutes and you are done!
Let me know if you go and if you like it.
I did the three mile walking video last night for the first time. I don't think I have ever finished the two mile! It's amazing the energy you have after you've been exercising for a month!
Jody, it would be awesome to have you guys come here sometime this winter!! Do you know any details of Ivan and missy's wedding...like who is standing for them, etc? October seems like so far away, but I'm sure it will just fly by!
I better run, I gotta wake up Lindsey and get her off to school!

Jenny:
Actually everyone will get a notification soon from Missi and Ivan with some very fun details enclosed. I won't spill the beans until this is given to everyone. They have some very neat and fun ideas. Ivan is so fun to listen to with his input on the wedding planning, he is so cute and he is very hands on with all the planning. It is such a joy watching and listening to them as they plan their special day!
Stay tuned!

Great pics Jenny!

i haven't been doing much jogging or biking - need to get back into a routine. i posted 30 lawn signs around town today for my city council bid - its really been a lot of fun - and i've had a lot of help from mom/isa, laurie, heather/shawn, and others who have been contacting everyone they know in town. i've got some nifty campaign cards too that i've been handing out. i start doorknocking next week to introduce myself around town.

i started school three weeks ago - its a weekend program - friday and saturdays in duluth at UMD. the program is two years and i'm hoping to then teach politics/govt part-time at a local community college when i'm done.

my little kitten continues to terrorize the bigger cat - he's just playing, but he doesn't know when to stop - i'm constantly giving time-outs and wagging my finger at them and busting up their "fights" - i don't know how people do it with kids.

that's the update from eveleth.
