Heidi visits in Brainerd while Dad is at an exotic auction

Heidi finds some Knäckebröd (hard tack)
in grandma's cupboard.  She thought it
                                   was pretty good

in fact, good enough to feed to grandma

and grandpa too.  Have to make sure it stays
                                  in his mouth!

Now why did my words go all over the page? I had them lined up nice.

Too cute! :) Was she sharing because it was SOOOOO good, or because she thought they might enjoy it more than she? What a fun time. Did Dad find anything at his exotic auction?

Heather hoped he would come home with some buffalo but came back w/
an empty trailer. They would even had a buyer for some buffalo meat as it's so lean.

Oh, she was eating it but wanted to
share. Didn't put pic of her prying her mom's mouth open for some hardtack.

Dad is still bummed that Mom said "NO!!" to the longhorns as he really would have bought some!!!!! Those things make MOM a bit nervous.
Heidi really likes to share her food but doesn't share the brownies as frequently as she shares the other foods. She is more apt to share when she has snuck food!

The buffalo would frighten me more than the long horns I think... Yikes.

Looks like little miss Heidi has things figured out. Can't chew her out for snitching when she is sharing!

Becky, how was the trip? How are Eric, Rosella and kiddos doing?

The trip was great! They are doing well. It was really special to get to see them in their own environment. The little ones are growing fast! Michael learned to roll over while we were there. Abigail is talking more and more and loves books. She has become attached to "papa" and will even bring him books to read.

I will try get some photos posted...

Thanks for asking :)
