Howdy!

Whats new in my life? Not much! I should prolly be bald from pulling out my hair, but thats about it!

But, since I'm on here... Ya'll do me a favor!

Take a look at http://www.commandotrailers.com/justsomepics.html

At the very bottom of the page, is a front and back view of a postcard that we are sending out to all of the garbage haulers in MN. I've had a couple of comments about getting rid of the red border, but I need it for an attention grabber to make sure its looked at before it gets pitched in the trash.

Give me some Critique! It could be better... but how? EVERYTHING can be better! The printed quality is much better than the web quality...

I can't critique (sp?) your Commando Trailers ad but I can comment on the wood design/pics.
The one you gave us of Grandpa with Tristan is super cute. The
other one of Grandpa and me makes
me look old but you really can't
improve on the original!

I have a picture of a sail boat without sails but all the whatever they are called are upright. I
should show you the picture and see if that would be possible.
Could put it on the other side of
the Lapland clock with the other ones you made on the left, would put this boat on the right. They would be close to my 3 plates of
ships with sails. Will send or bring the picture. Enjoying our
trip.

Two questions for you Charlie:

How old are you? If I have your age right you have working on them while still working at Takala's?

Will say it once again, the red is horrible! There are so many other bright colors, that are eye catching, that can draw your eyes to the picture.

The years is close ;-)

No Pink... No Red... Whats left?

As you spend time working on pictures on your computer, take a look at all the colors that are available! There are a whole bunch of them. Though it was just valentine's day, you don't need to continue thinking of pinks and reds! Did you forget to get your wife some roses and now that is stuck in your head or what? :) What about BRIGHT green?

For those that haven't figured it out, this is Jen. Charlie is sitting at his computer and me at mine, but he simply doesn't wish to listen to me! If anyone would back me up, it would be greatly appreciated! :)

I would leave out the comment about "little things like.." and simply say "replace gussets and hinges as needed" or whatever. Saying little things implies little prices and inimportant work, whereas in reality, those parts are vital to structural integrity and proper functionality of unit. (wow! I suprised myself with that monolog!). Further I would suggest taking pictures of dumpsters in shop rather than outside, it appears in pictures that you may be doing this work in your garage or something. You should advertise the shop a little as it implies better turnover and looks more professional all around. Just a few thoughts on short notice. Ivan

There is the critique I'm looking for! Thanks Ivan!

Did anyone notice I spelled monologue wrong? It was bugging me all day yesterday. Maybe it's just me!

A couple more cents from this corner...

I agree that the border needs to go unless that is what you want to catch attention. How about putting the catch words above the pictures. THEY would be the attention getter.

I agree with Ivan that it would be good to get pictures from the shop. However, the color in these is nice and shows off the dumpsters nicely. You don't want to lose that. Perhaps fading out the background will focus less on the outdoors.

Great adversting postcard!
