DON'T FAINT

I realize I am long over due for participating on the blog. I do not have any excuses either now that the painting is done and the carpets are all shampooed and the closets and drawers are all cleaned. Amazing what you can find to keep you busy when you are not working. I did find that we had a large number of hidden pets in our house called "dust bunnies" that I never knew we had. The funny part is that if you walked in to my house right now you would never know that I have spent hours cleaning like I have never cleaned before.
Good news is that I am going back to work soon. Cabin fever no more! My kids find it alarming that I am begging to go back to work. haha
My boss does not predict a monumental year by no means and things will start out very slow but work is work!
I had a thought the other day that I wanted to share with you. We have several Kuoppala's turning a new decade this year. Susan and Mitchell will be 10, Denise will be 20, Jennifer will be 30, Charlie will be 40, and I will be (cough cough) 50. I thought it would be cool to get a picture of all of us together and then take another photo 10 years from now. We can see how much we change in 10 years. Hopefully we can all get together some day soon and do this, thought it would be fun!
I love all of the photos that have been posted and spent several moments reading back through the archives...I will try and not be a stranger on here.
Take Care All!

I emailed Becky and asked if we could get the picture done on the 26th as well. It will be fun to look back 10 years from now to see who has changed the most.
See you all on the 26th!

Good to hear from you Jody. If you want to have cabin fever at my house, come on over :) Sounds like a lot of work....

Will be fun to compare a picture like that. Great idea.

I actually start back at my old job here real soon. Will be 30 hours a week for now then 40 when school gets out. I will be the office manager but my position is changing drastically. I will also be in charge of inventory which includes a humungus shop that needs to be organized and cleaned out with old stuff either being shipped back or sold. We have about 40 Nextell phones to get rid of (some brand new, some older) and Shawn if you need ANY electrical supplies (mostly almond or light almond) we have TONS!!! Switch plates, dimmers, receptacles and so on! Pennies on the dollar! I should let Gary know this to, don't think he has his electrical in yet. Anyhow...there is a lot of work to be done so I will be busy this summer. Also Tanner has a second interview with Best Buy (the new store in Lakeville)next week. Did anyone say "family discount"?? haha He is excited and anxious, and so are we so hope his second interview goes as well as the first.

Jody,
I can let Gary know, unless you are talking to him soon. How does it work, is the stuff for sale now? Would he have to be there soon? I will let Shawn know, but I just know he is going to ask more questions :)

We have boxes and boxes of stuff!! The white we are going to keep but all of the almond and light almond is going. We have single, duplex, 3-way, 4-way, dimmers, you name it. Shawn should give me a list of what he needs and I will price it out for him. Yes it is for sale right now. Dave is going to be coming up that way to bring Gary's appliances (hopefully soon) so I could send it with. Just have Shawn let me know what he needs. We also have flood lights, drills, ladders, sawzalls, hole hawgs, almost any tool that an electrician would need in excess of what we would ever use or keep on hand so I know some of that is going as well.

Yes, talk to Gary when you see him. Spoke with him lastnight but forgot to mention it.

Hey ... I want some too!!! Shucks, wish I lived closer. You should see the outlet covers we hauled up with us. Had a few left over from remodeling. :)
When you take pics on the 26th .. someone please post them for the rest of us. Sounds like a fun idea.
