A few pictures of the rental house we have in Alaska. I don't know how long we'll be in here ... but could get use to having all this space. Makes me wonder where everything fit in the other house!! The house is rather spacious ... and we have an empty guest room! Welcome!! Will try add other pictures. Maybe I need to just do one at a time .. after getting use to the ease of Bebo .. Blogger can be incredibly frustrating sometimes. :)

looks nice. I am still trying to figure out what peaople are talking about all the time when they say it is dark all winter long there in the winter. I can see sun rays in the pictures, not just the predawn light that every one here tells me that you get. And these are people that have been there they say. Go figure. It looks like a place I would like to live.

Your father never did take a picture of the other side of the house so am glad to see it. Yes,
he also said you can see without
headlights an hour before sunrise.
But perhaps it was a moonlit night.
We are almost at the winter solstice and the days will start
getting longer, like the Finns used to say, a weasel step at a
