I think I mentioned before that I love spring and the change of seasons. Today reminded me of that great joy.
Ok... So it was a bit funny too. The kids got quite a few big waves from cars passing by! Note the confusion of the change in season.... short sleeve shirts and winter jackets side by side. With the early change to daylight savings time, we had extra day light to extend the fun of the day.
Now it is time to go wash clothes :-)
Happy spring everyone!

great pictures...looks like tons of fun! We don't do daylight savings here....and hope we never start! We do not need an extra hour of the scorching heat in the summer!

We've been trying to figure out
where exactly they are canoeing.
In the picture, which side is the
street? dk
How fun!! I took pictures of "Lake Kuoppala" too, just didn't get them burned to a CD.
I contemplated taking Tristan on the little lake in the canoe too. Great minds think alike! LK.
Laurie that is true! i want for a ride in the canoe and had a blsat. we got snow today and it was 38-40 degrees! canoeing in the ditch with the snow coming down. great fun. i need to go have a great evening. -debbie
The pictures are in our front yard. If you are standing on the driveway, looking toward the mailbox, the kids are to the left.
The water froze up again after these pictures, but not for long. Since then, it has pretty much dried up.
Today was another one of those "don't know how to dress" spring days. Going to church this morning we had a kid with capries and flip flops and another with a winter jacket. Oh well. I noticed we weren't the only family in this condition!
I managed to get the boots scrubbed and packed for the summer, snowpants and scarfs washed and packed. Now to do the hats, mitts, and jackets... I don't want to think about the change of clothes. That is the only downside of changing seasons!
Weather is right here today for tornados - they have alerts out. I quess the earliest has been March 8th, so we are well into the season. It just seems too early.
