Lindula's

Hello everyone. Just wanted to update you on my wonderful weekend.
Saturday: Liz, Laurie, Kathy, Tristan, Lorrie J., and myself went for a bike ride. We biked down the Mesabi Trail from Giant's Ridge to Gilbert. It was a 12 mile trip and was great. I got home after biking and went comotose for a while and thought I was going to be sick. However, I recovered and cleaned my house.
Sunday: Becky, Wayne, Ivan (from Ecquador) and all but 3 of the children came up. They came to church, we had lunch, then they went to Ironworld. Jen was able to go too. I decided a bike ride would be good, so called Liz and she joined me. We were going to bike from Ironworld to Old Town Hibbing as they were going there next. We biked there and then decided to bike back. We were back before they were leaving Ironworld. It was 16 miles round trip. Then, we all drove to Hull Rust Mine and Old Town of Hibbing. Following that, we drove to Eveleth and had Poor Gary's Pizza in the park. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to have all of them up here for the day. Hoping that soon, they can bring their children and bikes and we can all do a bike ride down the Mesabi Trail. Anyone else care to join?

Sounds like great fun. I used to ride my bike quite a bit with Dave and the boys but we have not done to much riding lately. We need to get out more. You guys rode a lot of miles. Is your butt sore??? Glad you had a good weekend! Dave was in bed most of the weekend, I think he actually has allergies and not a head cold. He is so stuffed up but it just doesn't seem to go away. I am trying to talk him in to allergy tests but you all know how stubborn he is.
Dave slept and I shampooed all the carpets in the house. What fun that is.
Take care all, hope you all have a great week!

Jody,
All of you could load up the bikes and come up for a ride.
As for the glutes, I'm able to sit, but seriously questioned if I would need a change of job where I had to stand all day. Not doing bad. Didn't think my legs were bad until I tried to walk quickly up some steps. They did get a workout. It was so fun though it's all worth it.

I often wish I had a bike, and one of those things you pull behind to carry two kids in. That would be great exercise! I can't wait for the weather to cool off a little down here to start going to the park again with the kids. They ride their bikes all over, while I push the stroller. But when its so hot, the bikes don't move out of the garage!
Heather, when are you and Shawn going to plan a trip down here?

I'm not sure when we will be coming down there. He is busy with work and we are doing a lot around our house (outside). Julia wanted him to go to Alaska with her this fall, but she needed a clean bill of health first. After she completed her chemo, she went in for a test and they found cancer in her liver, so she is back on chemo. I don't think we will be going anywhere for a while. I'd like to come down, but my goal is to make it to Alaska, so AZ may have to wait. We'll see. If you know of any auctions there, we may get there more quickly =)

I know there is an auction in Princeton on the 16th, everyone want to meet there?
I'm kidding, I'm not going to go to that one as I have a bike ride on Sunday.
