Lindula's

Hello to everyone. Jen has some exciting news. She got a job in Cokato/Buffalo and is going to be moving down there. That's good for her, it will be nice for her to hang out with friends, etc.

Not much new around here. Several of us are volunteering tomorrow for the bike Tour on the Mesabi Trail. It is supposed to be a wonderful day for biking (76 and sunny). They are expecting 700-800 people. It should be fun.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

How awesome for Jen! Good luck with everything!
That weather sounds awesome! It has been a little cooler here temperature wise, but the humidity has been way up! So it is really disgusting outside! I would take 110 and dry over this any day! Now if it would just rain....it keeps threatening to, and it has around the valley, just not at my house!
Our AC in our van went out, so yesterday it was in the shop all day getting fixed (new compressor). ($$$$$$$$$) It is really frustrating, because at the end of April, Frans put in a rebuilt compressor, and it is two weeks past the three months you have to return it!! oh well....
I could probably handle going the rest of the summer with no AC, but the kids are the ones who really suffer.
Lindsey starts school on Monday, and she is Sooooo excited about it! It is all she thinks and talks about!! She is ready, I just don't know if I am!!!! Is she that old already??!!
We went to the school last night to meet the teacher. She has a substitute teacher until November, because her teacher just had a baby. And she seems really nice, so I am sure we will all like her:)
Not much new around here besides that, so I will sign off now!

We've got our calendar marked to
help move her things from storage.

is cool as no AC in truck. dk

The weather here as been great. Cool at night and not too bad during the day. Saturday, Laurie,Kathy, Kate, Liz, and I all volunteered for the bike ride down the Mesabi Trail. I didn't bike because I was one of the last corner marshals at Ironworld and didn't want to be going so late, however, next year, I'm going to bike. There were a lot of people and most of them really seemed to be enjoying themselves. The amazing part is that most of them come from out of the area. There was no one I talked to who was from the 'Range. Last year, 80% of the people were from elsewhere. So, for those wanting a fun, relaxed, family bike ride, think about it for next year. This year, there were many different starting spots - Liz and Kate biked from Giants Ridge to Hibbing (57 miles) many people started in Virginia or Gilbert, and other started at Ironworld. There were people of every age (from babies in pull behinds, little kids riding their little bikes with baskets on the front, to retirees. Along the way, they have many stops. In Buhl, you could stop, eat ice cream, swim, kayak, canoe, etc. So, everyone should think about it for next year.
