I was so excited, but a little nervous too! On Sunday night, I laid out all my clothes just how I was going to wear them, and we set my alarm clock, and for once went to bed early!! I woke up right away to my alarm clock this morning! Here are some pictures from my morning!

How did the first day of school go? Nervous? Apprehensive? The pictures are great. Is it all day school or 1/2 day? How did the others do with big sister being in school?

It is all day:) She was so excited, but she chewed on her necklace the whole time, so you could tell she was nervous! I was kinda emotional....actually, I was fine until I gave her a hug before she went in her class, then I wanted to keep hugging her, and not let her go! It was kind of a scary feeling letting her go! She had so much fun and can't wait to go back tomorrow! she likes her teacher and she was talking a mile a minute when we picked her up.
Let me tell you about my morning...
I can chuckle about it now! (I admit it was all my fault, and if I would have paid better attention, it all would never have happened) :)
We got home from bringing her to school, then we right away got on the computer to look at the pictures we took, and to post on the kuoppala blog. After that, frans left to work....and I stayed on the computer for about 15 minutes to post on the forstie blog. Towards the end of my blogging, Denise Wuollet called, so I was chatting with her. I finished on the computer walked in the kitchen to find Kierstyn Toni and Alanys in the cheerios, and they were EVERYWHERE! So I sent them out, and swept and cleaned up the mess....(still on the phone)
well, while I was cleaning that up, Toni was jumping on the couch and hit my vase hanging on the wall that has (really fine) sand and fake flowers. That fell off the wall, so now I have Sand everywhere!!!! So I sent them to their room while I cleaned that up...(now I hung up with denise) after that is cleaned, I walk down the hall to find q-tips everywhere!! Geez Louise!! What got into these girls!!?!?!?!?!?
So by 10 am I was completely frazzled....called frans to tell him, and all he said was 'sounds like you need to just get off the phone!' After that the day went pretty good!

say she had been to her first day
of school. Don't know where my
mind was as I answered the phone,
"Kuoppalas, May I help you?" At
least I didn't answer like Grandma
Arola answered hers, "What now?" in
Finnish.
I suppose the girls were a little
excited also about their big sister
going to school so they didn't know what they should do. Sounds
like they found plenty to do!!!dk
