I really need to sit down and read the last months worth of blogs. Just been a little busy around here though. Anyway here are a couple of pics me and the girls took when Jenny went to the gym.
At first there was only lighting, after about an hour we got some rain. The rain lasted off and on for 12 hours. There was 2.5 inches in some areas. If I could send it your way I would, it makes it impossible to work when it is always raining here. Too the Heather's question: the nice thing about digital is the ones were you only get black sky you delete. I took at least two hundred pics with a five second shutter and hoped it was pointing the right way when the lighting struck. One of these days when I can see a storm rolling in I am going to go up a mountain and try to get it over the whole city.
Awesome pics! Was quite the storm. It poured enough buckets that we had water up on the back patio. Awesome storm, but dittos on the not working! -anita
Thanks Arizona....you must of sent the rain this way. Finally got a real good soaking last night and this morning! Really needed it (send more). Awesome lighning show this morning (4:30 am) but was not awake enough to even dig out my camera. I will be more prepared next time. I am going to try and get pictures of Mars and the moon this Sunday at 12:30 am....set your alarm clocks, suppose to be quite the show and something that we will never see again in our lifetime. Hope it's not cloudy. Will post them is I get any good ones. Farmington Jo

Lightning...have not seen that in awhile, did you get rain with that??? Send some our way, really need it!!!
