Hey all, just thought I'd see if anyone is still reading this. Anita, how are the projects going? How is the ash treating you? Becky, how is the job search going? How is Wayne's job holding up? Charlie, how did the card come out? How is business doing? Dave, how does this year look for the sod farm? Jody, how is it going at Air Traffic? Elizabeth, how is your crazy busy life? I'm out of time gotta go to work. Will ask more questions later. #9

Ivan, I'm still reading it. Just don't have anything exciting to share.

Thanks for the nudge to post :)
Wayne has been as busy as ever in his job. I think he has been home a total of 3 days this month. Most recently he was in CO for two weeks and then in Sweden for a week. He switched planes in Mpls, but only had an hour so we couldn't see him. After picking him up from the airport Sunday, we stopped at the church to celebrate Wesley Hillukka's 80th birthday. Mother & Isa came over for coffee with Ruth and Maxine on their way to Brainerd. Wayne must be accustomed to travel because he was up again at 6 am and headed to the office. There was a problem in Colorado that they wanted him to tend to. Paperwork (expense reports, etc.) had accumulated so he said he couldn't go until Wednesday. They compromised on Tuesday. So, off he went again... We hope to see him Friday! While it is difficult to have him gone so much, we are thankful that he is busy and that he has a job he enjoys.
For now, I have been devoting more of my time to school searching rather than job searching. If we can swing it financially, I might be able to work on-call while going to school. It is still a bit early to know how things will end up.
We just had another layoff at Methodist. They eliminated the LPNs this time. I hope the organization can survive these difficult times.
So far, Eric and Rosie are still getting their normal hours at their jobs as is Denise. Michelle has been a manager at Noodles, but accepted a gardening job for the summer. It sounds like she can go back to Noodles in the fall if she wants. Brian's hours got real slow at Discount, but are picking up again.
Denise might be going to Finland for a couple months to work as a nanny. Details still need to be worked out, but if everything falls into place, her job is willing to grant her a leave for that time. It would be an exciting opportunity for her!
Debbie is starting the job search process. She is ready to take her driver's exam in May and will need money for insurance, etc. Hopefully she can find something soon.
Hopefully you are all doing well and are enjoying the approach of spring.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like everything is going OK for you all. Kind of a bugger that Wayne doesn't have much home time, but nice to be busy. #9
