darling pictures of the girls...they are all getting so big!
I bought my ticket tonight to come to MN for my brother Stefan and Tiffany Anderson's wedding. I am coming Wed. June 27th, and will be there till afternoon on monday the 2nd. Should be super fun!!! I'm not making any plans yet because I don't know how I am going to be getting around, and how much time I will be with the family. Either way....I can't wait! Stefan's wedding is the 29th, and Curtis Forstie's is the 30th...so a double whammy!
Jari and Anita came here after church today with Duke...they were having an open house, so needed somewhere to go. We had a lovely afternoon of visiting and playing settlers, and then church this evening. What are we gonna do when they move??! Who are we gonna play settlers with?!
Not much else new....I will post some pictures soon of Frans' birhday bash on the bus!! Like Anita said, it was a great hoot of a good time!!
Till then...Happy Monday everyone!

The pictures are so cute. I'm excited to see the start of the tulips. I planted a bunch last fall and was worried about not knowing what they would look like when they came up. Needless to say, I don't have anything growing yet. But soon...

Who is Curtis marrying?

This weekend was beautiful. Friday night I was trapped inside making squeaky cheese. Saturday, we vacinated, deloused, and ear tagged our cattle. I got some other yard work done. I've now taken my goat out on leashes, tie them up and have them eat brush. They are so cute.

Sunday, church in the morning and afternoon. Then stopped by an animal swap at the community building. I'm going to buy 3 more goats and hope to have them this week. I'm going to raise goats. Shawn has his cows and horses and I'm going to have goats. Two of them may be bred, so will have some kids at some point. Shawn is going to help me and we are going to set up a schedule for breeding. Then, will get into raising, breeding, and selling goats. I'm so excited. They are small and I can manage them. Plan to go to an auction this coming Saturday to buy a llama. They protect the goats from predators. They will attack coyotes to protect the goats.

I think all of you would laugh at me outside if you drove by and witnessed this. I put my brown goat on a lead rope. Yesterday, I put 3 ropes together, and bring it to eat the brush. However, the goat tends to follow me, so I have to be with it, so it doesn't end up strangling itself with the rope. Once I leave, it gets all messed up. I have to help it. So, I hang out with my goat and show it what brush to eat. It will eat the brush if I'm there to keep it company. Shawn thinks the brush there will be cleared out in 3 years at the rate my goat and I are working on it. It will go faster as I'll put a pen up once the ground thaws.

How many people have looked at your house Anita and Jari? Any prospects yet? I can't wait until you move to Alaska. I'm eager to come on vacation!!!

Awesome pics of spring. I am dreaming of planting things, but don't dare dig another hole in the ground over here. Wanted to plant some peppers in containers, but probably a waste of time to do that as well.
Yesterday's open house didn't have folks streaming in unfortunately. Apparently to expect that is a bit delusional anyway. The realtor left a note for us that one couple expressed "greater than average interest". Don't know what that means! Tomorrow the camera folks come in to do a virtual tour of the house to place on the internet. I had quite an epiphany yesterday. It only takes 21 days to form a new habit, right? By the time this house is sold, I should be out of the habit of dropping things on counters, kids should be in the habit of making beds, dog poop should be picked up regularly, yard should be raked, bathrooms cleaned ... yadayada. Do you think it will work? Me has me doubts.
Time to go school a teen!
