Jenny

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon at the lake with Jari and Anita and clan and had a great time! It was my first time at the lake in probably six years! Hopefully we can spend a few more days their before summer ends, and maybe even bring the tent trailer and camp there one weekend! Here is a picture of Frans on the wakeboard for the first time in about 7 years, and he got up first try!! Surprised us all!

Anna is holding Alanys who didn't really know what to think of the boat. Anita, did you get a picture of Alanys in her life jacket? If you did, can I get a copy?

Lindsey woke up in the morning saying she didn't know if she really wanted to go to the lake to go for a scary ride in Jari's boat...but once we got there and got going, she was ok! The last time she was in a boat, was last summer in Jari's bass boat, and she did not like it! We explained to her that this boat is a little bigger, and it has a house you can go into if you get scared!! It is awesome! Here is a picture of Jari and Anna hugging their new 'baby'! I have more pictures, but can only do five per post....so more to follow.
Anita leaves today for MN....have a safe trip, and tons of fun!!!

And yes we would love to go to the lake again with you. Maybe one afternoon just the four of us with no kids. A weekend trip camping and boating sounds fun with ever one along.. will have to wait till we are back from our running..

Do I make supper lately???
Having a great time in MN. Services were so awesome and so much fun to see folks I haven't seen for years. Am at Becky & Wayne's ... running around! Tomorrow is the 4th (actually today!) and should be a fun day!

Hey anita!
I listened to some of the services on the internet.. I wasn't at church on Sunday, but they were supposed to be internet services from MN since there were no ministers here. Well, Matti ended up missing his plane, so he was here to speak, and he gave "greetings from Sky Harbor Airport"!
How many people do you thing were there on Sunday? I heard there was no AC in the gym...was there?
Would have been fun to be there!
Denise called me on Saturday night, and told me that 'everyone' from phx was at services!
Still don't know what we are doing tonight for fireworks...Lindsey keeps saying she wants to watch them with Anna and Tia! Frans is working today for Jari...maybe tonight we will go to Peoria Sports Complex. What are you guys going to do? What is everyone else doing today?
Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Happy 4th everyone!

Services were very hot. The gym did not have air conditioning, but the rest of the school did. It was so hot in there. As for the number of people there. Someone had heard that they served 1,800 for communion, so unsure as to how many people were really there. Heather

About 5,000 at services. Heather
was close on communion count, I
heard 1870. Yes is was on the warm
side. Had fun with Anita and 4 plus Heather & Shawn (1 night) at
Becky and Waynes. Met an opisto
friend of Elizabeths. Liz would have come all the way to Brainerd to pick her up but we agreed to meet half way, in Hill City. We
had just received our water when
Liz pulled in. She would have been earlier but lots of boat traffic. We had Anni and Ruth
for grilled burgers and potato
salad on the 4th. Later we saw some awesome fireworks from our patio. dk
